Pulvinated trim moldings cap off the bottom of the range hood, which is nestled inside of an extended arch.
Two Kitchen Islands are Better then One
Each island in this kitchen serves a different purpose. While the long island serves as the primary work zone (with seating), the secondary island is arranged for easy access to the family room and for setting out food and beverages for guests.
Iroko Wood Counter top on Island
Iroko, a type of teak, is especially good around water, so we used it as the primary countertop for both kitchen islands.
